Project Description:
2005 - Located on the primary road near the Airport, Villa Aqeel is built on a land of an area of 45,000m². The architectural image of this prestigious villa was to reflect the authentic style of this Islamic region using modern approaches and materials, forming an image of an urban fabric that consists of several masses linked together with arcades like houses in a traditional city. On the other hand the landscape design reformed the site into several natural themes that combined forests with dunes and green valleys. Through this natural combination of themes another layout of geometric landscape surrounded the villa and formed a will studied connection between nature and man built items. This thoroughly designed geometric landscape formed several plazas and water features that reflected the spirits of the Islamic gardens in the Andalusian era.
