Challenge:
SCHS required the creation of a comprehensive and inclusive city designed specifically to serve individuals with disabilities. The project needed to address key issues such as accessibility, safety, empowerment, and universal design standards, all while blending functionality and aesthetics. Moreover, the project aimed to set a precedent as a fully integrated environment for people with disabilities, pushing the boundaries of traditional urban and architectural design.
Approach:
Through master planning, architectural, and engineering design services, Dar Al Omran worked collaboratively with affiliate partners to produce an innovative, inclusive urban environment. The design integrated smart solutions, leveraging state-of-the-art technology to optimize space utilization.
